FAQ for birthdays
- Children under the age of 14 may only play if accompanied by a parent or guardian or an authorized supervisor. We generally assume no responsibility for the supervision of minors.
- From the age of 12, independent play is permitted if an accessible accompanying person remains nearby. For VR games: the accompanying person can play along or wait outside – depending on the child’s attention.
- For safety and experience reasons, children under the age of 8 cannot take part in our physical escape rooms. In individual cases and when accompanied, we recommend our VR escape games depending on how attentive the child/children are.
Rules & behavior
If children do not follow the rules, ignore instructions or endanger themselves or others, the game may be terminated prematurely or an exclusion may be issued – in both cases without refund. We recommend that parents or guardians remain available during the game and stay on site if possible.
Children aged 8 and over who actively participate in the puzzles count as full players and require a ticket.
Accompanying persons who are only present in the room but do not actively participate in the game or contribute to the progress of the game are not considered players – no fee is charged for them.
Note: Further information and recommendations on age ratings can be found on the respective room pages.
Applies to Out of Control if the group consists mainly of 8- to 10-year-old children:
“Out of Control” is primarily aimed at adults and can quickly become overwhelming for younger children due to the game structure and level of difficulty, especially in groups with lots of energy and short attention spans.
Recommended for ages 11 and up when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
