The mission
What is Meltdown about?
A meltdown is coming, and only you can stop it. As journalists you are inside a running nuclear power plant, and you have 60 minutes.
Several tasks need your attention at once. Follow different clues and combine what you find so that you keep track of the bigger picture.
Your visit
How does your visit work?
Allow about 90 minutes in total, including the briefing. You pay on site by card.
Arrive together
Be there as a complete group five minutes before your booked start.
Briefing
Your game master explains the mission and the rules and answers questions about the chosen difficulty.
Split the tasks
You play with your own group only and divide the parallel tasks between you.

Which level should we choose?
Go by the experience of the whole group. The default is level 2+ (for beginners with some experience); you choose a higher level up to 4 when booking.
From what age can we play Meltdown?
You can play Meltdown from age 12. If players under 16 play without adults, you need written consent from their parents before the game starts.
Is Meltdown scary, and is the door locked?
No, Meltdown has no scary effects; the tension comes from the mission and the clock. The door is locked electronically but can be opened at any time; on request, it stays open during the game.
How many players fit in the room?
Meltdown is for 3 to 8 players and is our only room for eight. From nine players, you split across several rooms, for example Meltdown and Out of Control. Enter your date and group size when booking to see matching group plans with start times and the total price. See escape rooms for large groups.
How much does Meltdown cost?
The price per player falls with group size: €36 for 3 or 4 players, €33 for 5 or 6, €30 for 7 and €28 for 8 players, including VAT. That makes €108 for three and €224 for eight. Prices as of 20 September 2026.
Can we play in English and cancel free of charge?
Yes, both. You play in German or English and choose the game language when booking; the website language does not set it. You can cancel or rebook free of charge up to 48 hours before your slot. For cancellations, after the deadline the full price is due; a later rebooking costs €50. The details are in our terms and conditions.
