Your mission
Runaway Train starts with a clear brief: Dr. Steem has sent a train full of dynamite towards a busy city. Your team has to reach it, defuse it and stop the villain.
Runaway Train: what it is about
It does not stay at one puzzle. The route leads through the train in several stations, each with its own task and its own time pressure. You have to combine finds correctly and work through tasks in the right order while the pace stays high. That mix is why Runaway Train is rated puzzle level 4 of 4.
How the game plays
For groups with escape room experience, Runaway Train is an excellent choice when action, coordination and pressure are what you want. Newcomers should start with Space Station Tiberia, which offers a similar length at a more moderate level.
Who Runaway Train suits
Dr Steem’s dynamite-laden train is heading towards the city. Work your way towards the locomotive, deal with hazards and try to stop the train. Connect your discoveries and tasks in the right sequence to move forward.
Good to know: VR starts at €33 per player and is charged per play area and group size (all VR prices by group size). Runaway Train is played as 2–6 players. The limit applies per play area; from seven players you use both areas. You choose the title on site with your game master.
