You can use the public parking facilities in the vicinity.

The street Haidgraben is especially suitable for this ▷ open google Maps. Since you can walk comfortably to our location  between police station and the Cafe “Trödel und Tratsch”. Alternatively, you can also use the Alte Landstraße as the second best choice for parking.

Most of our rooms are air-conditioned. Each room has its own air-conditioning system, which ensures a pleasant indoor climate. Nevertheless, in some places warmer areas may occur on extremely hot days or when many consecutive groups are playing. In addition, we allow closed bottles, during the summer time, in the room to make the environment optimal.

The Escape Game is booked and I have received the confirmation email – when do I have to be there?

On the respective day, please come to us 5 minutes before the booked time or on time. Do not come earlier, as we may have to take care of previous guests.

Via our booking calendar (on the respective room page under the room description) you can usually book up to a few hours before the respective date.
Depending on capacity and demand, we will dynamically adjust this lead time. For you, this only means: If you can select and book an appointment in the calendar, then it will work.

You voluntarily get locked in a strange room with your friends to “unlock” yourselves on your own. You do this by following clues, solving puzzles, working together as a team, and completing a mission along the way – oh yes, within an hour of course – ONE HOUR LEFT.

Almost everything in this room could help you escape: Be it keys, hidden clues, acoustic signals, codes or strange patterns on the wall….
This is how a typical Live Escape Game works. It’s as if you were playing in a movie yourself and determining the outcome of the story while fighting against your biggest enemy: time.

It’s good to know that we are generally a bit more difficult than the average in Munich and the surrounding area. Especially those who have played rooms of the first generation (combination locks and co.) will have a somewhat more difficult time with us.

Our categories primarily help beginners and advanced players to choose their room. In general, however, our gamemasters will accompany you individually and will help you if you need help.

For classification purposes, we use: “Out of Control” Level 1, “Psychosis” Level 2, “Meltdown” Level +2, (+12 years), Level 3, Advanced* , Level 4 Frequent players

Why the difficulty level is only an orientation: Whether a room is easy, medium or difficult for you personally depends on many factors. What did you learn in your childhood? How do you look at the world? What filters determine how you take in information? How quickly can you deal with new situations?

So what level of difficulty a room has for you personally depends on you, your teammates, their number, your perspectives, and your communication skills.

(*we recommend having played 3-5 rooms per person before for the full game fun)

Done!

Persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

From 12 years we recommend “Out of control”. Whereby a parent or guardian remains in a reachable vicinity. In short – drink a warm beverage in the area and enjoy peace and quiet, but do not go home during the game.

Younger players must be accompanied in the game by a parent or guardian.

More information about our age recommendations can be found on the respective room page.

Unfortunately, our rooms are not suitable for children under the age of 8.

We distinguish less by age than by whether the player actively participates in the game.

Babies are considered emotional company.

As a rule, 2-6 people. Our rooms are designed to give small groups a chance to win while still maintaining the ambition for larger groups.

For more detailed information and recommended group size, please see the specific room page.

For larger groups up to 7-21 people we offer several rooms at the same time. Check out our “Large Groups” page for that.

You pay directly on site.

Until then, your number of players can still change for various reasons, so we can settle everything in one go – convenient for both sides 🙂.

You can pay us cash in euros with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We accept major debit and credit cards (Maestro, VPay, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover and UnionPay).

We would prefer gold, but unfortunately that is against the law.

Please note that the “girocard” via Apple Pay is unfortunately not currently accepted by our card terminals due to technical limitations over which we have no control.

Don’t worry, nothing gets lost with us! Please check the spam/junk folder of your email inbox first. If you haven’t received a confirmation email from us within an hour of booking, it’s best to write to us right away. You can find our contact details in the menu under “Contact”.

Good news: You don’t have to do anything. In fact, you can still decide on the spot how many players will play. The total price is calculated on this basis and adjusted accordingly.

Please send us a short email (it is best to reply to the confirmation email of your booking). If the email is lost, you can also call us. You can find our phone number and e-mail address in the “Contact” menu. For you it’s only 2 minutes, for us – 2 hours that we can dedicate to the development of new spaces 😉.

Please note that a free cancellation is possible only until 48 hours before the booked appointment at the latest. After this deadline, a cancellation fee of 50.- EUR will be charged.

What to do at Corona?

Step 1: Directly contact us via mail on the booking mail or call us if you have a short notice. If we are not on site leave a message on the answering machine.

Step 2: Due to Corona’s exceptional case of illness, this cancellation fee will only apply if you are unable to book an alternative date within 24 hours. Please check the respective calendar for an alternative date. You can book this directly and add the following sentence in the note:
“Special case Corona rebooking of [booking number of the cancelled booking]”.

Your voucher is valid for 2 to 3 people. Each additional person pays the appropriate price for the group size.

For 4 people, the 4th pays: 33€; for 5-6 people 28€ p.p..

The voucher is only valid for “Out of Control”. You can also read this on the Jochen Schweizer page under the tab “THE ESCAPE ROOMS” → “Locations in Bavaria” → “Ottobrunn (Munich area)”.

Your Mydays voucher is only valid for “Out of Control”, for 2-3 people and is not valid on Saturdays. You can also read this in the Mydays terms and conditions. Please contact Mydays for this.

First of all, congratulations!

And now to the topic. You choose an Escape Game on our main page, book the appropriate time and put your code in the appropriate field. If your voucher is older than April 2023, just take it with you at the day of the game.

Our in-house vouchers have a validity of 3 years from the year of issue until the end of the year.

This does NOT apply to the validity of vouchers from external providers such as MyDays, Jochenschweizer or similar. For the validity of these vouchers please check with the respective providers. Thank you!

Example – You get your voucher for your birthday, which was purchased in May 2022. You must redeem this voucher by December 31, 2025 at the latest.

Vouchers which were issued in 2018 have been extended in validity until March 31, 2022.

Our new voucher system does not accept older codes.

Just bring your voucher withyou  the day of the game.

Happens frequently with the Chrome browser at the moment:

Solution: In your browser window, look for the small info icon in the top right corner of your search bar. Allow the redirection in your browser.

If you book a certain date with us, then the Escape Room is available exclusively for this date. That means you only play with the people you bring with you.

Yes. However, it’s not as bad as prison 😉 .

We use magnetic devices for our lock, which means you can get out whenever you need to. If you get scared in closed rooms, are pregnant or similar, we can let you out at any time!

There are several ways to get out. Either you reach the destination and the door opens automatically, or someone presses the emergency button. In this case the Escape Game is irrevocably canceled and the door unlocks automatically. After one hour at the latest, the game is over in any case and the door unlocks itself.

No more dangerous than a visit to the cinema. Apart from the risk of addiction 😉!
If you wear a pacemaker or similar, please contact us before booking.

For large groups, check out “Large Groups” directly!

You will have a great time! For a good game you need a clear head. Therefore, and for safety reasons, you may not play under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If this is the case, players will be asked to leave the room and there will be no refund.

Our rooms may or may not be spacious enough for you. For more detailed information you can ask us about the rooms via the contact page. If it helps, all our rooms have normal hight and you want need to crouch.

Persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

You can find more information about our age recommendations on the respective room page.

Unfortunately, our rooms are not suitable for children under the age of 8. Your (as well as our) cute pets are unfortunately not allowed in the rooms 😿.

Babies are considered emotional support for us ❤️.

Let’s put it this way: it’s not a visit to the opera, but you don’t have to clean out a chicken coop either. Your ordinary everyday clothes are more than appropriate.

General knowledge and a common sense will be sufficient.

Let’s do a little test: there were two parrots flying. One was green, the other – towards the east. How much does a kilo of rusty nails cost? If you can’t answer that – welcome to our site!

We offer the rooms in different languages. English is definitely possible in all our rooms.

“Out of Control” you can also play in: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Chinese. (Translated )

“Journey into the Unknown” and “In Orbit” will be continued by our lovely colleagues HUNT4HINT

You can also redeem our in-house vouchers in these rooms until the end of this year.

Yes, our rooms are absolutely safe, even if you are pregnant. Surprises do happen depending on the room, but the games are not physically stressful.

For wheelchair users the situation is as follows:

We have an elevator. However, our rooms are located on a mezzanine floor. To get to the location, therefore, 9 steps on the 3rd floor and a step at the entrance to the house must be overcome. Otherwise, a spacious toilet is available, but without special equipment (no “disabled toilet”). Our Escape Rooms “Out of Control” and “Core Meltdown” can be accessed with a wheelchair without any problems. Due to the puzzle elements, it is highly recommended that groups that have wheelchair users have at least 2 people with them who can stand. Unfortunately, the Escape Room “Hypnosis/Psychosis” does not offer the possibility of wheelchair access in places.

For deaf people we will find an individual solution at our locations, but it would be good if you bring a hearing person with you.

In principle, the rooms can be played without hearing. However, you should bring a hearing person as a team member, as there are rooms that have sound elements relevant to the game. If this is not possible, just write us – we will find a solution 🤟 !

Sure 🤩 ! Please note, however, that we do not provide changing tables or the like.

Please click on contact in the menu above. There you will find all the information on how to get to us or contact us.

We are on site when play dates are taking place.
